SEVEN UP

Author(s):

Who knew that tracking down one elderly, depressed, former hit man could be such a pain? Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum never dreamed that bringing in Eddie DeChooch would be such a disaster. The elderly man escapes again and again, and finding the body of Loretta Ricci in his shed certainly doesn't add to Stephanie's day.

It seems that a lot of people are looking for Eddie and a missing "package." When Stephanie's stoner friend Mooner turns up claiming that his pal Dougie is missing, Stephanie gets concerned, for Mooner and Dougie also have a connection to Eddie. Something very weird is going on here, and Stephanie needs help — but Ranger's price for assistance has Stephanie both intrigued and nervous.

It is time to rejoin the wild and wacky world of Stephanie Plum. The amazing Janet Evanovich delivers yet another hilarious and high-energy romp through the streets of Trenton. This is money well spent! (Jun., 320 pp, $7.99)
