Harris’ second Love and Games novel is completely modern, totally entertaining and stuffed with flirty, romantic goodness. Readers will adore Cane and Angelle’s perfect chemistry as much as they enjoy watching their personalities clash. The story gets quite steamy at times, but readers are left hanging to — cue imagination — interpret the scenes. This all-around feel-good love story will also make foodies crave Cajun fare.

Almost a year has passed since Angelle Prejean stepped foot in Magnolia Springs; she left to break away from her boyfriend and start anew. But Thanksgiving is approaching fast and she’s promised her family she’ll return home for the holiday. The problem is they think she’s engaged. When she wins super-sexy Cane Robicheaux in a charity auction, she asks him to play along as her fiancé for a week. But acting as a couple comes all too easy for the pair. By the end of the week it might be a lot harder to walk away from each other than they initially thought. (ENTANGLEDPUBLISHING.COM, dl $2.99)
