Action-packed drama doesn't overshadow the romance in Sex and Lies (4.5), by Donna Hill. An unusual plot and multidimensional characters makes this a great story. Savannah Fields is a member of TLC, a secret organization of operatives that investigate and expose crime. Her husband, Blake, is a successful architect who's on the cusp of bringing to fruition a major project. Savannah's assignment is to investigate Blake's latest project. Her insecurities come into play when she thinks he's having an affair with the woman whose company is financing the project. When Savannah becomes distant, Blake believes she's having an affair. Both must rely on love and trust to make it out unscathed.
