SEX, LIES AND CELLULITE: A LOVE STORY
Sylvia Hunter is worried about her husband, Greg. He suddenly seems distant and different. Is he having an affair? Her boss at the Critter Comforts Thrift Store thinks her own husband is having an affair because she's researched affairs and their signs. But Sylvia has always had a wonderful marriage. Suddenly she isn't sure. Greg was the perfect son who took over his father's hardware business when the older man had a stroke. Now he's gone some nights and there are strange phone calls. Renee Roszel's Sex, Lies and Cellulite: A Love Story (3) has a strong, humorous protagonist in Sylvia. However, the plot becomes too serious and depressing, and the humor seems incongruent with the story.
