The early promise of MacNeal’s Victorian romp gets bogged down in multiple storylines and various intrigues. With sections of sparkling dialogue and sizzling sex, the novel is definitely an enjoyable read.
Twins Jason and Jude Darington are the darlings of Victorian London society. But few know about their naughty relationship with Jason’s fiancée, the commoner Maria Paladino. When Jason is abducted from his bachelor party, Maria uses every means at her disposal to find him, using her secret identity and her brother’s otherworldly talents. When she finally tracks him down, Jason is suffering from amnesia, but a few well-placed kisses have him hot and remembering their time together.
