This final installment in Taylor's trilogy wraps up some loose ends and presents
a swiftly moving mystery, and a strong romance. The suspense builds nicely
and comes to a satisfying conclusion.
On the verge of marrying Declan McLean, Ivy Sedgwick has an unexpected visit from her long-lost father. She ignores his warning against the marriage, but when Detective Griffin Fargo shows up at her wedding, causing Declan to run, Ivy discovers her father was right. She had no idea who Declan really is -- a liar, a con artist, a fiance to multiple women and maybe even a murderer. Now, along with Griffin, Ivy is determined to find Declan and stop him from hurting anyone else. (Zebra, Oct., 384 pp., $6.99)
