Shadows in the Mirror (4) starts off with an intriguing introduction that concerns the past of Marylee Simson. Her parents died when she was a toddler, and she was raised by her dear aunt, Rose. Aunt Rose has recently passed, and Marylee has pulled up stakes and moved back to her hometown of Burlington. Although a busy and successful crafts-shop owner, her life suddenly takes a sharp turn, and she wonders if she's just paranoid, or if she's actually in danger. Linda Hall grasps readers as the mystery of Marylee's past is slowly revealed. Simply put, nothing is as it seems. Kudos to Hall for a delightful novel.
