SHADOWS OF THE PAST
by Patricia Bradley

Genre: Inspirational, Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Bradley’s debut has a great deal of action and a tightly plotted storyline. It’s not incredibly difficult to figure out the identity of the villain, but that does not detract from the adventure and intrigue of the tale. Readers will eagerly anticipate the next installment of the series.

Taylor Martin makes her living teaching forensic psychology and helping various agencies to profile criminals. The one case that has always troubled her is the way her loving father, a police officer, disappeared from her life. Taylor sets out to research her father’s past cases to see if she might uncover some clues to his whereabouts. Returning to her childhood home is not without its problems, as Taylor gets in the middle of her family’s discussion on selling their land. Something more sinister seems to be happening, and Taylor and mystery author Nick join forces to discover what is actually going on. (REVELL, Feb., 352 pp., $14.99)
