The second installment in the Texas Rangers series skillfully tackles difficult topics (domestic abuse and bullying). The characters are easy to relate to, and the action is intense and fast paced.
After a dead body is found in an abandoned house, police officer Liliana Rodriguez, along with Cody Jackson, the new Texas Ranger in town, investigate. Cody is trying to build a relationship with his son, Kyle, who just lost his mother. After four more murders, it appears that the killer is trying to rid the town of “undesirables.” Cody and Liliana move to maintain the peace and stop the violence, while Kyle struggles to turn over a new leaf.
