SHE DID A BAD, BAD THING
In She Did a Bad, Bad Thing (3), by Stephanie Bond, plain makeup artist and stylist Jane Kurtz makes others gorgeous and glamorous. If only she could unleash her inner wild child, her life would be more interesting, but she doesn't have any money. Then she's part of a group that wins the lottery, and she takes off to Las Vegas for an adventure. Lawyer and neighbor Perry Brewer has acted like a jerk to her and is sorry. He follows her to Vegas, worried that she'll get in trouble. But can she trust him? This wonderfully titled story is well written and has good dialogue, but it's slight and doesn't quite pull together.
