SHEIKH BOSS, HOT DESERT NIGHTS (3) by Susan Stephens: Casey Michaels's job with the A'Qaban development agency brings her to the desert kingdom. She arrives prepared for everything, except her immediate attraction to her boss, Sheikh Rafik al Rafar. As he begins to test whether she has the mettle to stick with the job, their attraction intensifies. What does this mean for his royal obligations? This tale features a heroine who leaves home a girl and, through some trial-by-fire experiences, becomes a woman. At times her immaturity slows down the momentum of the narrative, but the dynamic hero has a commanding presence, and the ambiance of the desert kingdom turn this into an enjoyable read.
