SHEIKH'S BETRAYAL (2) by Alexandra Sellers: It would take a lot to bring Desiree Drummond near her former lover, Salahuddin Nadim ibn Khaled ibn Shukri al Khouri. Ten years after her flight, however, she receives a frantic phone call from a childhood friend. Persuaded by her friend's pleas, Desiree arranges to meet with Salah to convince him, by any means necessary, not to marry her friend. Salah wants Desiree, but that's all he'll admit to. They ignore memories and old emotions as Desiree attempts to carry out her mission. Sellers' characters are a little over the top, and Salah's angry demeanor and mistrust of Desiree is difficult to tolerate.
