RT Rating

Sheikh Rafiq al Akhtar rescues Belle Winters, a marine biologist working in the desert kingdom of Q'aroum, after rebels kidnap her. There's an instant attraction, but Belle learns that Rafiq had to use the royal jewels as ransom, which means she's now his betrothed. Belle goes through with the marriage, thinking it's to be one of convenience so Rafiq can capture the kidnappers, but he has other ideas. This is what a love story should be. In The Sheikh's Ransomed Bride (4.5), Annie West has created a strong, combustible twosome. The conflict is not between them, it's from an outside force that they must work together to vanquish.
