When her father arranges a marriage for her with an older man, Keira has to accept or become Sheikh Kalen Nuri's mistress. When circumstances make the choice for her, she must accept the consequences: leave behind her career in America and make a new life—one that may force her to reveal a secret. While Keira has always loved Kalen, she doesn't like the control he has over her life. When her secret comes out, it's healing for her but could also mean the end of her future with Kalen. The Sheikh's Virgin (2) by Jane Porter has a very intense premise with a very promising romance that never really reaches its full potential. The heroine is too emotionally battered, and the hero is far too abrasive.
