RT Rating

A small town sheriff agrees to help his cousins city case by babysitting the witnessnot expecting it to be the woman he left nine years before. Her job as a public defender had led to a tragedy hed blamed her for, and now the two dont want to be secluded together. Partly it is for fear of reliving the past and partly for fear of sparks flying again. THE SHERIFFS SURRENDER (4.5) by Marilyn Pappano is a wonderful tale of redemption and second chances that masterfully blends excitement, romance and warmth.
