Recently promoted assistant producer MacKenzie Ryan has a lot going on, including an unplanned pregnancy. Dumped by her married lover, she's done with men--too bad her new neighbor, research physician Quade Preston, is such a babe! He also has some emotional baggage as cumbersome as her own, and he's as taciturn as she is talkative. So there's no future for them, right? Marie Ferrarella continues the Cameo trilogy with She's Having a Baby (4). An appealingly uncomplicated plot is offset by complex characters and potent sexual and emotional tension. Despite the title, MacKenzie's pregnancy is not used as a plot device in the usual way--a welcome surprise.
