Becky Bloomwood is back in Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. Becky has found her calling and now works as a personal shopper at Barneys in New York. She is thrilled when her businessman boyfriend, Luke, finally proposes. But planning a wedding is never easy, especially when there are two headstrong mothers involved!

Luke's mother wants them married at the ritzy Plaza Hotel, while Becky's mum wants her to get married at their home in England. And that's just the beginning of her problems! Although a fast-paced and funny read, this book offers less laughs—and less shopping!—but more depth, than the previous installlments. Still, fans of this series should enjoy Becky's latest round of self-inflicted messes and misunderstandings. (Mar., 336 pp., $10.95)
