Book Review

The end of the Glitch trilogy goes out not with a bang but a wallop! Anastasiu’s writing style is sharp and fluid, and each chapter ends with bigger and badder twists and complications. It’s an interesting choice that the bad guy (or girl, in this case) rarely makes an appearance in the series; it certainly works in elevating her fear cachet. A great conclusion to a wonderful trilogy.

The end is approaching, and all of Zoe’s training has led her to a final confrontation with the supremely evil Chancellor. Her love, Adrian, is back but battered, with his memories — and gift — all but eradicated. Max, the boy who betrayed his entire regime, seems determined to win back Zoe’s trust. The more powerful Zoe becomes, the more her teammates seem to perish in battle. But she’s determined to embrace her gift and defeat the Chancellor once and for all.
