SILENT WATERS
by Jan Coffey

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

When the nuclear submarine USS Hartford unexpectedly needs repairs,
it's a minor annoyance for Commander Darius McCann, who's covering an
early-duty shift for his executive
officer. But once he and engineer
Amy Russell are on board, it's clear
that something odd is going on.

By the time Darius realizes that
the submarine is being hijacked,
it's too late. Terrorists control the
deadly craft, and some of them are members of his crew. All Darius can
do is try to stay -- and keep Amy --
alive, and take down as many hijackers
as possible.

The audacious theft hasn't
gone unnoticed. Lt. Col. Sarah
Connelly and Commander Bruce
Dunn are piecing together the
details and working feverishly
against the clock. The submarine
is capable of attacking any city on
the Eastern Seaboard, but it's heading
for New York.

Timely, chilling and breakneck-paced, this story has it all: political intrigue,
a touch of romance and humor -- an unbeatable combination. (Apr., 384
