SILENT WEAPON
by Debra Webb

Genre: Series, Silhouette Bombshell, Previously Published Series Imprints

RT Rating

A year after losing her hearing from a rare infection, police department file clerk Merri Walters decides that the way to jump back into life is to catch a murderer. When she's successful, with a little help from detective Steven Barlow, the department asks her to go undercover to help catch another criminal—against Steven's wishes. While Debra Webb's characters in Silent Weapon (3) are very real, the romance almost seems like an afterthought. Merri and Steven don't get together until the very end of the book, and that's only after Merri's confusion over her attraction to a criminal.
