This sequel to Causing Havoc has delightfully familiar faces as well as intriguing new ones. The heroine, an abuse victim, is presented in a realistic way, working to overcome her fears and build a new relationship. The hero is an alpha male but patient and understanding. Foster offers an excellent portrayal of a heroine leery of sex.

Dakota Dream's stepfather, Barnaby, is using emotional blackmail
