the reader to a sweet, wholesome, yet sometimes gritty story. The characters are interesting, occasionally a little
off the wall, but appealing. The story
moves at a fast pace, without bogging the reader down with too many details.
Marlene is also fighting to keep a secret she has kept close to her heart. After everything is said and done, Marlene and the rest of Parness Springs will never be the same again. (Zondervan, May, 336 pp., $12.99)
