A fun, fresh adaptation of the Cinderella story, this is a quick read, and there's great chemistry between the main characters. The attraction between the protagonists could have been fleshed out more, but Springer still proves that she can pack a whole lot into a short read.

Dr. Ella Cinder has to deal with her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. She has an active imagination when it comes to colleague Dr. Rourke Stephenson. She's come up with an ingenious way to explore her secret sensual thoughts and feelings: She becomes "Sinderella" and, along with a group of actors, performs an erotic version of Cinderella. When Rourke shows up at a performance, she wonders if she should take a chance and make him her Prince Charming. (, dl $4.95)
