SIREN'S SECRET
by Trish Albright

Genre: Historical Romance, England, Georgian Period
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1791 England and the High Seas

RT Rating

Albright cements her place as an adventure/romance writer with her second roller-coaster ride of a story when an American shipping magnate and a British Egyptologist match wits and wiles in a race to decode an ancient prophecy. The fun begins on page one and continues to the very satisfying end.

Lady Olivia Yates can decode hieroglyphics better than anyone, though few know it. When she uncovers an ancient text that's been translated incorrectly, she's intent on setting the words straight. But someone is determined to stop her.

American sea captain Samuel Stafford is intrigued by Olivia, and when she needs protection he's there. But Samuel isn't prepared to take the adventurous lady on a voyage around the globe to find a fabled treasure or stave off Barbary pirates and an odd assortment of villains. All he really wants is Olivia in his bed. (LEISURE, May, 320 pp., $6.99)
