Book Review

A SISTER'S HOPE
by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Brunstetter winds up the Sisters of Holmes County series with a novel that begins as an exciting conclusion to a mystery but ends in disappointment. The story is buried under repetitive discussion of various suspects and exposition. But there are some unexpected twists along the way.

Martha Hostettler is determined to discover who's behind the attacks on her family. At first Luke Friesen is a possibility, but Martha soon realizes it's not him. As Martha's family deals with the burning of their father's business, the shooting of their cattle and her mother's nervous breakdown, she tries to take strength in God and the fact that Luke might love her. But will they be able to
discover the truth before the threat turns deadly? (BARBOUR, Jul., 304 pp., $10.97)
