Book Review

SKELETON CREW
by Cameron Haley

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

The second book in the Underworld Cycle is even better than the first. Once again, Haley mixes one tough heroine, multidimensional allies, worthy adversaries and enough action and humor to make this one hell of a page-turner. Fans of feisty, snarky female protagonists will absolutely love this book.

Domino Riley has finally found something she hates more than a zombie — a complete zombie takeover of Los Angeles. To stop the brain-eaters she and her friends must first rescue the sacred dogs who help carry souls to the other side, kill a bad guy or two and vanquish all the pesky demons that keep popping up. Oh, and she should probably figure out how she really feels about the boss’s son. (LUNA, May, 320 pp., $14.95)
