SKIRTING THE ISSUE

After catching the infamous "man-magnet" skirt at a friend's wedding, hotel meeting planner Samantha "Sam" Baldwin dumps her current Mr. Wrong and goes to New York to land a big promotion. Upon arrival, Sam discovers her former competitor and brief lover, Josh Crandall, has been hired by her boss as a consultant. The games begin when Josh sinks to a new low and engineers her enrollment in a course for overly-aggressive saleswomen and Sam craves revenge. The sparks heat up, but their antics push Sam to make a hard choice…and Josh nearly loses her in the process. The latest book in the Single in the City series, Heather MacAllister's SKIRTING THE ISSUE (3) is quite entertaining, particularly its opening scene. The conflict between the two leads is believable, and keeps the reader pulling for the heroine all the way.
