SLEEPING BEAUTY AND THE MARINE
by Cathie Linz

Genre: Series, Harlequin Superromance, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Marine Captain Sam Wilde becomes the focus of a story by reporter Cassandra Jones after he lands a disabled surveillance plane. The assignment is a huge coup for Cassie, but she remembers how Sam ignored her at his previous press conferences and decides to reinvent herself as a powerhouse, "whiplash blonde." Now blonde, sporting "tough-chick" T-shirts and contact lenses, Cassie isn't sure if Sam is attracted to her or her new image. Cathie Linz's final Wilder brothers story, SLEEPING BEAUTY AND THE MARINE (3), is my least favorite. The continuous references to Cassie's new hairdo and Sam's rigid Marine Corps stance are wearing.
