The latest book in the Lock & Key series features Aurora Constable, the natural daughter of the woman who was foster mother to the sisters in earlier books. Voluptuous Aurora owns the Lavender Field bakeries and donates the catering for the lock-and-key fundraiser for former foster girls. There she meets Tucker Schulz. They are attracted to each other, but Tucker is not ready to settle down, and Aurora finds herself thinking of marriage and children. But fate seems to be pushing them together when they win a weekend trip. Slow Ride (3) by Carrie Alexander has charming characters and a wonderful romance, but the series is feeling a bit stale.
