Although she doesn't trust him, Charlie Keene, the co-owner of Keene Concrete, is attracted to Jack Maquire, an executive at a large concrete company in town to acquire a new business. The attraction is mutual for Jack, who quickly finds himself wanting Charlie much more than he wants her or
her competitor's company. Terry McLaughlin's good writing and
lively dialogue make A Small-Town Temptation (4) a fun and joyous story.
