SMOKIN' SIX SHOOTER (4) by B.J. Daniels: Dulcie Hughes has come to Montana to find out why her parents left her a large tract of land near Whitehorse. Land, she discovers, that was once home to a murdered woman and child. Rancher Russell Corbett figures city girl Dulcie is in over her head as she tries to find her connection to the dead woman. As the two team up, they are threatened and harassed, even by members of the Whitehorse quilting circle. Trying to resist, but falling fast, Russell watches over Dulcie, protecting her even though he knows he must let her go when she finds her answers. A visit to Whitehorse is always a delight, and feisty, funny Dulcie finding her knight in shining armor wearing jeans and a cowboy hat makes for a delightful tale.
