Teacher Fiona MacPherson is terrified when she and her students are caught in blizzard conditions while returning from a competition. Luckily they make it to a mountain lodge, where the proprietor gives them shelter. Dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after his stint in Iraq, John Fallon doesn't need his lodge full of teenagers, but their teacher is a whole other story, and the attraction is mutual. In Snowbound (4), Janice Kay Johnson accurately scripts her characters' emotional lives. Readers will see John as a flawed but ultimately likable character.
