SO INTO YOU
With many familiar characters from the author's Cajun Bad Boy trilogy, Hill creates a touching story that's fairly lighthearted but doesn't make light of the heroine's past and the decisions she made. Readers will look forward to more stories set in this locale and starring the book's secondary characters.
Telling Grace O'Brien that he loved and wanted to marry her did not get Angel Sabato the response that he'd hoped for. After her refusal, a very brief rebound marriage and a year in Germany, he's back in Louisiana. Tante Lulu has asked him to help build a house for a family of orphans.
But Angel has more on his mind than construction. This time, with the help of Tante Lulu, Angel plans on getting a yes when he finally pops the question to Grace again. Only Grace has a past she's not willing to share with anyone, and it could soon come home to roost. (GRAND CENTRAL, Aug., 336 pp., $7.99)
