It's back to the stars for another otherworldly thriller. This rip-roaring adventure zips along while not scrimping on the character development or sexy sizzle. It's mega-talented Kearney at her best.

Following her parents' murder during a slave rebellion when she was
a child, Azsla's one goal is vengeance. That's why she's trained herself to pass as a slave. While fleeing her home planet to spy on former slaves who've built a world, a deadly malfunction forces Azsla and her crew into escape pods where they are found by intersolar mining entrepreneur Derrek Archer.

Derrek is confused by his attraction to Azsla, and she's confused by her feelings for Derrek and the former slaves. But everything changes when Azsla learns of an approaching catastrophe. Can they overcome their divided loyalties to stop a cataclysm? (TOR PARANORMAL ROMANCE, Feb., 413 pp., $6.99)
