Ethan Parish comes to Conard County to find the father he's never met and some inner peace after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. He ends up in a drama when
a strange man approaches Deputy Connie Halloran's daughter, Sophie. Ethan becomes part of the sheriff's department and temporarily moves in with Connie and Sophie to protect them. The two soon feel safe enough to open up about their pasts. Then Sophie disappears. A Soldier's Homecoming (4.5) is the welcome return of Rachel Lee and the Conard County series. Time has moved forward in this fictional setting, but what stays the same are the multidimensional characters and rich narratives that inspire
optimism, faith and love even in the most difficult of times.
