SOLDIER’S NIGHT MISSION (4.5) by Cindy Dees: Special forces operative Carter Baigneaux comes to a university campus to meet Dr. Lily James. He was traumatized on his last mission and now freezes up in stressful situations. Claustrophobic astrophysicist Lily is considered a kook because of her work on aliens. She tracks falling meteors and is watching one hurtling toward an uninhabited area of Siberia. Carter knows the area is actually the site of a Russian doomsday machine, which will automatically send nuclear devices toward the United States when the effects of the meteor are felt. With Russians trying to kill Lily, and the two of them trying to complete her research while fighting a burning attraction almost as hot as the bombs they’re trying to stop, this is a great sexy James Bond-like adventure with humor, sex and characters you’ll love.
