Three well-structured, interrelated novellas detail the love lives of three brothers who are dealing with guilt and grief after the death of their eldest brother years ago.

Jace Jackson, the youngest in the family, is a sexy bad boy who has always held a torch for Taylor, who married his late brother. Now Taylor needs a man to help her meet her sexual needs. But Jace wants more than just a bed partner in "Somebody's Lover."

Brother David meets Randi when he nearly crashes into her truck. He's drawn to her ability to bring levity to every conversation, but they both have a few chips on their shoulders that they must confront before their relationship can move forward in "Somebody's Ex."

Finally, in "Somebody's Wife," Mitch and his wife, Connie, have been having problems. Connie searches for a way to bring back that loving feeling, then she discovers a shop full of delights!

Haynes, who writes contemporary romances as Jennifer Skully, pens a notable novel. The characters are engaged in interesting erotic situations, but readers will also care about them on an emotional level. Tying together the three stories brings more depth to each romance and allows elements of one plot to carry through to the next. (Jul., 320 pp., $14.00)
