Years earlier, when Michelle Grant was down on her luck, a passionate encounter with a stranger—whom she knew only as B.J.—had given her hope. Today, after lots of hard work, she's a successful career woman.

When Michelle meets computer CEO Brad Jamison, he triggers something. She can hardly believe this stiff executive is the same B.J. from nine years ago. And Brad's not sure he's ready to believe the rumors that Michelle slept her way to the top.

Intrigued by this strong, independent woman, Brad wants to pursue a relationship with her. But he doesn't remember that encounter nine years ago, and now threatens to steal Michelle's heart again.

While not an original story, the plot moves quickly and the characters are interesting. (Dec., 320 pp., $6.99)
