In the first half of this months Double Duets, Ruth Jean Dale gives us the very amusing SOMETHING ABOUT EWE (3). The plots a bit on the thin side, but the likable characters more than make up for it. On an extended vacation in her small home town, a recently-divorced insurance executive encounters the man whom she offered her virginity to as a teen, who is now a local veterinarian. His rejection still rankles, but he seems determined to rekindle their friendshipand, against her will, shes still attracted to him. Their mothers long-running feud serves to complicate their budding romance, as does a contested land development deal.
