SONNET TO A DEAD CONTESSA
by Gilbert Morris

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

In this final book of the Lady Trent series, readers are once again reunited with old friends as they meet new, memorable ones. Morris can write any genre of inspirational fiction with amazing results. These characters have depth -- they have worries like real people do, they struggle with their convictions and they learn from the choices they make.

In 1800s Britain, Lady Trent learns that The Slasher's latest murder victim is her best friend. She agrees to help police solve the case, along with Dylan Tremayne, who has helped in the past with other crimes. Lady Trent has a personal mystery to solve as well. Her feelings for Dylan are intensifying, and her newfound faith values are turning out
to be harder to live by than she thought. They must find the killer before Lady Trent becomes the next victim and loses her one chance with both Dylan and God. (THOMAS NELSON, Jun., 320 pp., $14.99)
