SOPHIE'S SECRET (3) by Tara Taylor Quinn: When theatrical producer Sophie learns she's pregnant by her much older boyfriend, Duane, an attorney gearing up to run for public office, she refuses his proposal, convinced he's only trying to do the right thing and not sure that she wants to get married. For their relationship to succeed, Sophie and Duane must come to terms with their insecurities, and each has a lot to overcome. Sophie has to be sure that she's over her bulimia, and Duane has to be confident that Sophie will continue to love him, even when younger men come along. While well-written, Quinn's story doesn't feel realistic. She does do a good job of depicting Sophie's emotions, though.
