Leone Weathers enjoys the success of her nightclub, has the love of a good man, her bandleader Cole Fleming, and for the moment, her daughter is speaking to her. But something seems to be missing.

Then she meets ladies man, saxophonist Ray Taylor, whom Cole has hired. Leone finds herself attracted to Ray despite his younger age and reputation. She experiences magic in Rays arms.

Cole cant stand to see the spark in Leones eyes shining for someone else, so he leaves. Its then that Leone realizes the grass aint always greener on the other side. She wants to fight for Cole, but time teaches her a good mans love doesnt mean a thing unless you love yourself first.
