This is the witty, action-packed second book in the Allegra Fairweather series, but readers won't have any trouble catching up if they begin with this story. This time around, Allegra is forced to dive into the choppy sea of family relationships, helping the very people who've always made her feel like an outsider. Luckily, Allegra is a kick-butt, take-charge heroine. She also has the help from her eccentric sidekicks, who add undeniable quirkiness to the story. The gripping plotline will have readers on the edge of their seat as they tag along with Allegra. With its intriguing paranormal elements and head-scratching mysteries, this book will fly by faster than a witch on a broomstick!

Paranormal Investigator Allegra Fairweather's latest case hits a little too close to home. Her stepfather may be possessed and it's up to Allegra to get to the bottom of things. But this case is more challenging than it seems. When her pregnant sister is kidnapped as well, Allegra pulls out all the stops: midnight grave digging, resurrecting ghosts and calling on the aid of her Wiccan best friend. And, if things weren't crazy enough, Casper, Allegra's sexy-but-off-limits guardian angel, is too distracted to help her. Will Allegra be able to save her family — and herself — this time around?
