Antonio Rochas catches Fleur Stewart trespassing on his property just after he learns he's the father of a 13-year-old daughter. While they spar, his daughter falls into a river. The two save her, and from then on their lives seem to intertwine. The thin line between love and
hate turns to love for Fleur, but Antonio isn't ready to make a commitment.
Then Fleur finds out she's pregnant.
Kim Lawrence's The Spaniard's Pregnancy Proposal (2) is about the role destiny plays in finding your true love. The letdown is that the relationship's major growth, where it changes from
pure attraction to love, is glossed over
in one or two sentences, and the reader doesn't share in the journey.
