Dr. Sophie Ford is excited to go to Peru to work on an immunization program, but her joy fades when she learns who's heading it up—Dr. Xavier Martinez Bordiu, who blames Sophie's family for his brother's death. Xavier is not too happy to have Sophie on board and decides to punish her father by using Sophie sexually. But what begins as THE SPANIARD'S REVENGE (4) backfires when they fall in love, though there's no chance of a long-term commitment. Susan Stephens will delight readers with a modern-day Romeo and Juliet—one with a much happier ending. There's a lot of sensuality and passion here, along with some very moving scenes, as Xavier and Sophie have deep emotional scars.
