SPEAK OF THE DEVIL
by Jenna Black

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Black is certainly not making things easy for her demon-exorcist heroine as Morgan Kingsley faces a truly horrible evil: a lawsuit. Morgan's stubborn and prideful nature is on full display as she continues to sabotage herself. One of the most fascinating features of this series continues to be the unique relationship between Morgan and Lugh, the demon king she harbors. Life on the edge can be gritty and sexy to the extreme.

Morgan's life is complicated enough. Not only does she harbor
the exiled demon king Lugh within
her body while being a member of
the council trying to return him to the throne, now Morgan must fight a nasty exorcism lawsuit that could ruin her. She suspects there's an ulterior motive for the suit, and those suspicions are confirmed when she receives a severed hand in the mail.

Adding to Morgan's misery is her blowup with her boyfriend Brian. Someone or something is out to destroy her. Can she figure out the who and the why before it's too late?
