THE SPECIALIST

Author(s):

In the latest installment of the Men out of Uniform series, ex-Ranger Brian Payne must return a favor for his ex-colonel. The former commander collects Civil War memorabilia and is looking for a pocket watch that's rumored to have once belonged to Robert E. Lee. Brian doesn't know that former military woman Emma Langsford is looking for the watch for a rival colonel who is also a collector. His personality makes him play by the rules, but Emma has another set of rules, and the race is on. But can they fight their attraction long enough to find the watch? The Specialist (3), by Rhonda Nelson, is nicely entertaining. The main characters and the competition are engaging, and it's interesting to see how the conflict and romance are tied together at the end.
