Nora Camden is on the run from her megalomaniacal father-in-law and trying to retrieve her ailing son from ex-husband Tommy when she turns to Sabriel Mercer. Sabriel is her only hope to figure out the crazy music clues her ex is leaving her as to the boy's whereabouts. He's also the only man who understands how crazy the older Camden is. He
was married to Tommy's sister and
was Tommy's best friend. Sylvie Kurtz's Spirit of a Hunter (3) is
rife with evil characters, but it lacks
a real connection and attraction
between her characters.
