To escape his "dull life," lawyer Phineus Teaque spends quite a bit of time fantasizing about being a spy. Right now his fantasy centers around his neighbor, whom he calls Tatiana. Her real name, it turns out, is Diana Traynor, and she is someone who fellow neighbor (and genuine spy) Amber Robinson also has a vested interested in.

Former Navy SEAL and Black Ops commander Drake Mackenzie and Diana have gained illegal access to a satellite-controlled laser and plan on auctioning off confidential information to the highest bidder.

Finn finds himself involved in a real-life adventure, and Amber, who's come across Finn before on another mission, wonders exactly who he is. Is he just a civilian, as he claims, or is he working undercover for another agency? When they end up in the clutches of the enemy, they will have to work together to defeat terrorists before the start of World War III.

This wonderful follow-up to Nobody But You starts the action on the first page and just keeps going. The dialogue sparkles in this fast-moving story of spies, traitors and terrorists. The lead couple is fun, and the strong heroine doesn't overshadow the hero. (Jun., 384 pp., $6.99)
