Book Review

THE SPY WHO WANTS ME
by Lucy Monroe

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Monroe takes the tough girl-meets-smart-guy motif and fans the flames of a classic thrill-ride romance. She delivers hot action and even hotter chemistry between the two main characters without skimping on the charm, mystery and intrigue. The premise may be familiar to Monroe readers -- it's the third book in her successful Goddard Project series -- but there's enough uncharted waters here to engage new readers.

Superagent Elle Gray has just been given an assignment that will test her ability to sleuth as well as her scientific side -- and perhaps call on her powers of seduction, when she meets a sexy scientist who is suspicious of her motives and threatens to blow her cover.

Dr. Beau Reston may not fully trust Elle, but he has a hard time keeping his eyes off this sexy spy who just may win him over in the end. (Brava, Jan., 320 pp., $14.00)
